Julie Sturtz
With a Bachelor’s of Arts in English Literature from Buffalo State College in 2006, Julie worked in the insurance industry before finding her calling at Triangle Chiropractic. Having been a chiropractic patient from birth, she holds a strong belief in chiropractic’s potential to enhance health and well-being in a natural and comprehensive manner.
Beyond her professional role, Julie is an advocate for an active athletic lifestyle, reflecting her passion for maintaining a healthy and balanced life. She finds solace by the beach and cherishes moments spent with her loved ones in the welcoming embrace of North Carolina. Tania Thompson Sr. CCA
In 2016, Tania achieved the title of Clinical Chiropractic Assistant, showcasing her commitment to enhancing patient care. Her remarkable journey led her to the role of assistant manager, a position earned through seven years of unwavering dedication to our practice. With an impressive background of 18 years in clinical administration, Tania’s proficiency is fortified by her fluency in both Spanish and English.
Tania’s connection with chiropractic care became profound in 2011 when she encountered a personal injury. This experience transformed her into a staunch advocate of chiropractic’s potential to enhance wellness.
Beyond her professional role, Tania finds joy in coastal getaways, the embrace of nature, and cherished moments with her husband and two daughters. Her affection for animals is evident as she takes pleasure in the company of her beloved pets.

Dianne Hoyt
Dianne is thrilled to have had the pleasure of being the clinical Chiropractic assistant that helps the chiropractic doctors with caring for patients since 1997. Our chiropractic doctors cover everything from structural to dynamics of the individual body care and she’s seen many people come and go during my her time here who have left with healthier and happier lives. Dianne is honored to have been a part of the wheel that gives each and every individual the care and success that not only they hope to achieve, but that the doctor absolutely wants to achieve.
When Dianne is not in the chiropractic office learning all sorts of wonderful new things, she is at home with her beautiful puppy Starr who at 10 years old, still loves to walk trails, up and down hills, even at her senior age which matches hers, so sje knows that they are a perfect match! Dianne feels blessed to have a wonderful family, including two sons, daughter-in-laws, and two grandchildren. Family is everything to her and her life is very fulfilled with love, hummingbirds, and of course her beautiful Starr .
Dominique Dunn
Dominique, has been a Certified Chiropractic Assistant at our office since 2020. Beyond the clinic’s walls, she finds immense joy in life’s simple pleasures, reading, and sharing treasured moments with her friends and family. Whether it’s exploring the great outdoors, sharing laughs over dinner, or enjoying a cozy night in watching Harry Potter, her favorite part of being a Chiropractic assistant is witnessing the transformative power of chiropractic care in patients’ lives.
Dominique is honored to contribute to this mission and be part of a team genuinely committed to improving lives. Whether handling administrative tasks or assisting skilled chiropractors, her goal is to ensure each visit to the office is as pleasant and beneficial as possible for our patients!
Lourdes Borriello
Lourdes joined Triangle Chiropractic in 2022 and became a Certified Chiropractic Assistant the same year. Prior to working at Triangle Chiropractic, she had never been adjusted but after learning and experiencing the benefits they hold, she now encourages anyone interested or curious to try it! One reason she loves working at Triangle Chiropractic is her work environment, and being around supportive Doctors and colleagues that allow her to continually improve her skills and contribute to the team’s success. Outside of work, she is a college student obtaining her AA while also earning a Business Certificate. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and exploring new restaurants.
Yisi Riner
Yisi joined our team in 2022! She embarked on her journey as a Chiropractic Assistant with a deep desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives. She finds immense satisfaction in helping patients achieve their wellness goals and witnessing the positive changes in their lives. Beyond her work in the chiropractic field, Yisi has a few hobbies that keep her well-rounded and energized. She is an avid traveler, always seeking new adventures and cultural experiences around the world. When she’s not exploring new destinations, you can often find her immersed in the world of video games. She enjoys the challenge and excitement that gaming offers, and she brings the same enthusiasm to her work in the chiropractic office.
kelly daugherty, lmt
Kelly Daugherty, a dedicated massage therapist, is on a mission to elevate the health and well-being of her clients through tailored massage experiences. For her, massage serves as both a meditative practice and a profound healing journey, benefiting not only herself but also those she cares for.
Originaly from Utah and raised near the majestic Wasatch Mountains, Kelly embarked on a path of enhancing lives. Graduating from Brigham Young University with a degree in Marriage Family and Human Development and a minor in Humanities, she eventually settled in North Carolina. Over a decade, she and her husband made Greensboro their home before finding their way to Clayton, NC, accompanied by their four cherished children.
Kelly’s inspiration to delve into the world of massage therapy emerged from her personal experiences with her children’s physical and occupational therapy. Witnessing the transformative power of massage in restoring mobility and promoting well-being ignited her passion. This revelation led her to pursue a massage therapy career at Johnston Community College in Smithfield, NC. There, she gained expertise in Swedish massage, trigger-point therapy, myofascial release, hydrotherapy, and client health/pathology. Embracing the ever-evolving nature of massage, Kelly finds joy in the continuous growth and learning that her profession offers.
Beyond her therapeutic pursuits, Kelly finds solace in gardening, woodworking, sewing, and relishing family moments by the beach. She thrives on creating laughter within her family and cherishing the simpler joys of life.

Marisa Lee, PT, DPT
Marisa is a Physical Therapist and works in our Durham office. She was born and raised in North Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012. She continued her graduate education at East Carolina University and received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy soon after.
Marisa enjoys working closely with patients of all ages and injuries to help them reach their own personal goals. Marisa incorporates manual therapy such as joint mobilizations, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, dry needling, cupping, and Kinesio Taping within her treatments to further her patient’s rehabilitation. She has clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics and vestibular rehabilitation, and works with patients to return to sports and work, improve on balance, addressing vestibular impairments, and improving overall movement and quality of life. In her free time, Marisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, trying new recipes, traveling, and staying active.
