Dr. Mike Poplak has been a valued member of Triangle Chiropractic in Durham and Cary, NC, since 2013. Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, he spent his early years in Winnipeg and Toronto, Canada. He began his academic journey with a Biology degree from the University of Western Ontario. Afterward, Dr. Poplak briefly pursued his passion for music before turning to chiropractic education.

In 2008, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. Together with his wife, whom he met during Chiropractic College, they decided to build their professional lives in North Carolina. After gaining experience in Cary, North Carolina for four years, Dr. Poplak joined forces with his colleague, Dr. Graczyk, at Triangle Chiropractic in 2013.

Dr. Poplak’s early love for hockey and golf, sports he enjoyed during his upbringing, influenced his career path. He became a certified Titleist Performance Institute Golf Fitness Instructor to align his professional development with his passion for these activities. He further expanded his expertise by obtaining certifications in Active Release Technique (ART), Functional Movement Screening (FMS), Select Functional Movement Screening (SFMA), and Kinesio Taping.

Outside of work, Dr. Poplak continues to enjoy recreational hockey in North Carolina, sharing his enthusiasm for the sport with his son, Cameron. Beyond his personal interests, he remains actively involved in the chiropractic community. Currently serving as the North Carolina Chiropractic Association Eastern District President, he works diligently to promote the growth and accessibility of chiropractic care in the state of North Carolina.
